1. How did you decide to apply for a job at Mars?

My interest in marketing started in my last years at business school and I decided to apply for a position in the marketing field. Mars Finland was one of the most interesting companies and as it happend they started a Marketing Trainee programme in 2004.

2. What was the application process like?

The application process was quite challenging. I was chosen to the tests based on my job application and after that I had two interviews at Mars office.

3. How does  Mars encourage their associates to do their best?

Firstly I think that a very encouraging fact is the overall atmosphere, it is youthful and very motivated. Associates encourage each other for doing your best and the leadership team is genuinly interested in developing people. Additionally Mars offers incentives based on your own performance as well as on the profit of the company.

4. What makes Mars Finland one of the most interesting workplaces in Finland?

Good team spirit, international company, career opportunities, good opportunities for development, local decision making, compensations and fringe benefits.

5. What would you like to tell students who want to work with Mars Finland?

Great choice – you will never have a boring day.
